Marlene Tremblay studied commercial photography at the Dawson Institute of Photography in Montreal, Canada. After years of experimenting with different photographic techniques, she specializes in black and white photography, using ambient light. This technique allows her to best capture the essence of her subject. Her travel photography expands on this theme by recording the way of life of everyday people, and the magnificence of the surrounding scenery, as if telling the story of a particular people at a particular time and place.
