Update from the Sydney Salsa Congress…

Ok y'all, I'm sure you're dying to know about what's going on at the Sydney Salsa Congress, and that's coming, along with that big new salsa crazy announcement, so before we start our Sydney Salsa Congress coverage, I thought I'd give ya' a few personal shots of Sydney and videos.

But first…Have you gotten your tickets for the Hawaii Salsa Festival? I hope so. I can't tell anyone about the cruise anymore, since it's been sold out for a couple of months now, so … I won't. Ha – people think selling out is a good thing? No way!  I'd rather be able to invite the world. Ya' gotta move fast.

Yay eh?  I have been salsa dancing in Sydney, almost every single night, and the salsa scene here is quite large. I arrived in time to see Jimmy Bosch and Ray de la Paz peform at a small club called Vivaz, and the very next day, the Spanish Harlem Orchesta in full force…more on that later, and here are some VERY small teaser clips for ya:

So how about this – this is the beautiful view of the bridge from aboard the Sydney Ferry, traveling to Darling Harbor (you'll love this):

and if that weren't enough, when the band started playing (the sound was excellent), it became really, really, crazy. This is truly one of my favorite bands, and they sounded exceptional - here's a clip:

And finally, a kick ass salsa dancing clip, that y'all were waiting for anyway:
