Dear salsa dancers of Hong Kong.
A great opportunity to take salsa to the homes of people in Hong Kong.
There will be a TV crew from CABLE TV coming to SUGAR to do an interview onTuesday 6 Jan 09. They would like to do some video shooting of Salsa on that night , Maria Cadaro (HK singer / celebrity) would like to dance while they take the video(around 9pm). Salsa start time remains the same - 8pm to 9pm dance lesson, freestyle afterwards.
This is indeed a FANTASTIC opportunity for SALSA to be promoted. Everyone will benefit.
Please come to SUGAR on 6 January, bring your dancing and non-dancing friends and let's show everyone just how much fun salsa dancing is. Please pass this message on to all your friends.
In 2009, let's take the opportunity to make SALSA the "in-thing" and enjoy a bigger and better salsa community.

EILEEN SISON
(lead vocals/band leader) – awarded last September 2005 by the Brazilian Embassy for her “invaluable cooperation in the promotion of Brazilian music in the Philippines”. Eileen makes regular trips to Rio de Janeiro, Brasil to attend the Carnival in Rio and to learn more about Brazilian music and culture. She can speak, sing and write songs in Brazilian Portuguese.
Eileen is the Founder and Dance Director of Escola de Samba de Manila, a samba school (composed of drummers and dancers) she founded in September 2005 headquartered at Steps Dance Studio in Makati every Saturday. She is also the founder of the Bossa Nova Club of the Philippines.
She now hosts a radio segment called “Understanding Bossa Nova” which airs 5 times a day (11am, 2pm, 4pm, 8pm, 10pm), Monday thru Saturday on Crossover 105.1 FM.

Tommy Mulyono, known as Reyno is the founder of SALSA FRESCA, started dancing Salsa in 2003. He has obtained international exposure through participating in several workshops and congress in and around Asia. He was learning Salsa directly from some of the world's famous Salsa Instructors. His passion to Salsa has made him to be one of Indonesia's well known Salsa Instructor. He has won some Salsa Competition in Indonesia, and now he is a member of the Latin Dance Australia (Indonesia) which made a big success on their performance in Sydney Salsa Congress in January 2007 for representing Indonesia. Recently Reyno has won 1st place in Asian Salsa Open Competition on February 2007 at Hong Kong Salsa Festival. On March 2007 - 1st Runner Up in XXI Open Salsa Competition (the biggest salsa competition in Indonesia). And His latest achievement is, he won the ‘West Coast Congress Qualification’ in Armany bar Hong Kong, 1st place. That made him to perform in West Coast Salsa Congress 2007 in Los Angeles on May 2007.
