Overview
Located in the heart of the Mission district Roccapulco is popular among local
Latino residents who come to relax and celebrate their memorable events at this
beautiful and spacious club with numerous tables, plenty of seating areas
including 2 balconies to watch the action and a fabulous dance floor. This club
has been the only venue in town to bring world-renowned salsa stars and bands
who draw crowds from the Bay Area and beyond. Most popular salsa nights are Fri
and Sat., but Wed. night with a DJ remains an undiscovered gem when salsa
junkies can come and get their fix without crowds stepping on them. New
owners and management are trying hard to attract hard-core salseros and organize
yearly dance troupe competitions that became a staple in SF salsa scene.
