Teaching Argentine Tango and New York Salsa
at the fabulous Claremont Resort Hotel, 41 Tunnel Rd., Berkeley, September 16- October 25, 2002

*It's not too late to start! There will be a special free make-up class for all those who missed the first class!*

Angel Garcia-Clemente, the beloved performer, dancer and choreographer of "Ballet Las Pampas," as well as many other shows, from New York City, is here especially to teach you his secrets of becoming a star on the dance floor. Don't miss it!!!

Argentine Tango for beginners, series of 6 classes:
6:30 - 7:45 p.m. Learn all the fundamentals including the walk, musicality, the close embrace, the seduction, lead and follow, forward and backward ochos, the sandwichito, and the rock step.

Argentine Tango for intermediates, series of 6 classes :
6:30-8:30 p.m. Come early and stay late! Two hours of class for one low price! This will be an accelerated course, perfect for someone who already knows ballroom or salsa. Review the fundamentals and progress onto more difficult material including the carousel, pasadas, giros, ganchos, and barridas.

Salsa, series of 6 classes : 9-10:15 p.m. If you like Latin dancing you will love this class. Learn the fundamentals of Cuban motion of the shoulders and hips, turns, shines, Suzy Q, and other fancy steps.

Each series: $60 members, $75 non-members; drop in $15/$20
Special: take both a salsa and tango series and save! Members $100 for both series/nonmembers $130.

We will be taking all students on a special outing to a tango club and a salsa club at the end of the series (price of admission not included in series).
